The Royal Botanic Gardens is a treasured part of Melbourne’s cultural life and loved by generations of Victorians. During summer the lawns come alive with outdoor cinema, theatre performances and exhibitions.
The different areas surrounding the ornamental lake are great spots to have a picnic, spend time reading or just stretch out and enjoy the environment.
Walking through the gates I immediately feel a change of mood, it’s a place to escape the close proximity of the city and observe the seasonal changes.
